Sportcast: Live Sports Broadcast Utility
Created by Craig Saper
I'm a Designer in Austin, TX who currently works at Tocquigny. Previously, I've worked at Craig Saper. I earned a B.S. from University of Southern California.
Description
This concept is still in an early incubation stage, however it has enough of a backbone to begin collaborating on a solution.
This would be a consumer- and business-facing multi-screen platform aimed at solving a few of the significant challenges currently afflicting the 'live sports broadcast' space (ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, et al). Note: this is not a "second-screen" or "social TV" platform; it can be better described as a tool or utility.
Hoping to collaborate with both a developer/technologist and an interaction designer to further polish the idea and ultimately create a baseline working prototype/MVP. (I'm thinking a rapid 'hackathon'-style approach.)
From there, we can decide which direction to head in, be it fully building out and commercializing the platform, capitalizing upon the raw IP or simply pushing the project into our respective "fun weekend project" archives.
Obviously I am being a bit stealthy in my public description, but would be happy to share more one-on-one.
Goals
- Polish product concept and determine the appropriate platform architecture and UX
- Create a baseline working prototype to validate the product concept and share with certain strategic audiences
- Build, release & commercialize the platform, relieving millions of their live sports broadcast challenges
