Custom Google Maps

Created by Paul Beard.

I'm a Developer in Bedford, United Kingdom. I'm currently freelancing. I earned a B.S. from Warwick university.

Project Description

A set of tools to help build custom maps with multiple groups distinguished by colour and shape of markers. Uses a JavaScript declaration file to create the group headers and markers which can be synthesised by a tool from XML derived form an Excel file. Currently also run a Access DB with VB 6.0 front-end to generate data and to manage contacts, visits etc.

To help me in my day job as a Methodist Minister, but also to help people who want to draw maps but don't have the skills to use Google Maps API themselves.I would like to convert the VB 6.0/Access code to Python and clean up the JavaScript so it is less like COBOL and more like modern js.
