hypetape seeks developer.

  • hypetape.com is a site that allows you to create and share playlists - http://www.hypetape.com/user/jarred/sample/. Similar to muxtape in it's heyday only it doesn't allow it's users to upload mp3s (hopefully avoiding legal woes). Songs are sourced via an API that indexes mp3s from blogs.

    I'm looking for a someone to take over development so I can focus on it's re-design and planning new features. Python/Django/AppEngine experience would be great if you want to continue where I've left off but I'm not opposed to starting again from scratch. I'm happy to continue doing the actionscript/javascript and css/html if it's template based (like django/ruby etc).

  • I've been focused on Ruby on Rails for quite some time now, so I am no longer up to speed on Python and Django, but it looks like a fun project!
